Sellify AI is a sales automation product for pest control. Its site lists four use cases: appointment reminders that collect notes before a visit, upsell campaigns that run the sale over SMS and collect a signed agreement and payment, win-back campaigns for cancelled accounts, and 24/7 inbound voice and SMS that answers the call and closes the sale on the spot. It names FieldRoutes and PestPac as integrations. Pricing is a flat rate per active customer in your CRM, with the rate quoted by its sales team.
Plaibook does the text follow-up part of that list and not the voice part. It texts leads that called and did not close, works the objection, books the appointment on the right route in FieldRoutes, sends the contract and collects payment. It also does two things a follow-up product does not: it scores every call your reps take against your own script, and it ties each lead source to the revenue that closed in FieldRoutes. Texting is priced per outcome; scoring is priced per rep seat.
Where they overlap
The core motion is the same. A customer or lead gets a text, the AI carries the conversation, and the result is a real action in the FSM rather than a note for a human to act on later. Both vendors publish that the AI schedules the job, collects a signed agreement and takes payment. Both run upsell and win-back campaigns to an existing book. If you are evaluating either one for "text my unclosed leads and book them," both do it.
Where they differ
Voice. Sellify AI's site describes an AI that answers inbound calls. Plaibook does not answer the phone. A person answers, and Plaibook transcribes and grades that call. If you want a voice agent, Plaibook is not the product. If you want your CSRs coached on the calls they already take, Sellify AI's site does not describe that.
Attribution. Plaibook attaches a lead source to each call from the tracking number, then reads FieldRoutes to see whether that lead became a subscription, so you get close rate by source without anyone entering it. Sellify AI's site does not describe source attribution or call scoring.
Approval. Plaibook has a co-pilot mode where a person approves every message before it sends, and a handoff toggle on any thread. Sellify AI's site describes testing flows internally before go-live; it does not publish a per-message approval mode.
Pricing. Sellify AI charges a flat rate per active customer in your CRM, so the bill scales with the size of your book rather than with usage. Plaibook charges for texting only when a conversation produces an outcome you agreed to in advance, and charges for scoring per rep seat. Both models are described on each vendor's site; neither publishes a rate.
