Driven, at bemoredriven.com, calls itself a performance operations platform for field service. Its site describes real-time performance grades for each team member, a team scorecard and leaderboard, incentive programs where points land automatically and can be redeemed for rewards, and a mobile app with route and work views and proof of service. Around that core it lists a pipeline with stages, a shared inbox for texts, emails and calls, team messaging, automated review requests, referral invites, and upsell and win-back campaigns. It says it sits on top of the CRM you already run. It does not publish pricing.
Plaibook is a phone product. It transcribes every sales and service call from your phone system, grades it against your own script steps, and matches the caller to FieldRoutes to see whether the lead closed or the cancellation was saved. The scorecards are for CSRs and inside sales reps. The follow-up product texts the leads who did not close and books them in FieldRoutes. If you want to know how a technician is doing, Plaibook cannot tell you. If you want to know why a rep's close rate dropped last week, Driven's site does not describe a way to find out.
Two different questions
When I ran inside sales, the operations manager and I looked at completely different numbers. He cared about stops per day, callbacks, and whether the route ran on time. I cared about how many of the calls that rang turned into an initial, how many of the cancellations we talked out of it, and which lead sources were worth the money. Both sets of numbers came out of the same FieldRoutes account, but the phone-side numbers also needed the recording, because FieldRoutes does not know what the rep said.
That is the line between these two products. Driven works from what got logged. Plaibook works from what got said, then checks it against what got logged. A technician scorecard does not need audio. A CSR scorecard does, or you end up grading people on whether they typed the note.
Where they touch
Driven's site lists upsell and win-back campaigns and a shared inbox. Plaibook runs upsell and win-back over text as well, to opted-in lists and existing customers, and its texting ends in a booked job, a signed contract and a payment inside FieldRoutes. If you run both, decide which one owns outbound texting to the customer base so a customer does not get two conversations. Everything else is separate: Driven's reviews and referrals have no equivalent in Plaibook, and Plaibook's call scoring and source attribution have no equivalent on Driven's site.
